We have a new buzzword at Purple Monster- LEARNINGS.
We love a learnings. And yes, while it may not be easily used in a properly constructed sentence (which makes our grammar pedant Robin shudder) it is part of our everyday.
If you think about a typical day, you are always learning. And there are so many different types of learning. Learning from your mistakes, learning from experience, learning from reading and watching, learning by teaching and learning new skills…
Which brings us to Juggling. Yes, you read correctly. Juggling. For those who know, Purple Monster has a rich history in the performing arts which of course includes circus performance. A recent event saw our very own Alan Heap dust off his unicycle and call upon skills from his previous life as a circus performer. As a result, we now have a set of juggling balls in the Monster studio. Of course, we do. And with Alan promising he can teach us to juggle in 15 minutes, you can guess where this is going…
We have set ourselves the challenge over the coming weeks to learn to juggle. Alan boldly claims he can teach anyone to juggle in 15 minutes. So far, it is taking slightly longer than this, but we are persevering!
