Engagement in a Virtual World

Virtual events have become increasingly popular.

As a result, analysing engagement statistics for virtual events is crucial for understanding their success and improving future events. Here are some key statistics to consider when evaluating virtual event engagement:

1. Attendance Rate. The percentage of registered attendees who actually participated in the virtual event.  Very easy to know how many joined the call!

2. Engagement Metrics. These include average time spent per attendee, number of sessions attended, interactions in chat rooms, poll participation, and Q&A engagement.

3. Audience Feedback: Collecting feedback through surveys or polls to understand attendee satisfaction levels, areas of improvement, and overall event experience.

4. Social Media. Analysing social media mentions, shares, and engagement related to the event can provide valuable insights into audience sentiment and reach.

5. Networking Activity. The number of connections made, meetings scheduled, and interactions among attendees for networking purposes.

6. Content interest. Tracking which sessions or content pieces received the highest views or engagement can help in planning future event content.
