Hugo was born and bred in Warwick, where the Purple Monster studio is based. After being inspired by his dad, who is an author, Hugo was drawn to the creative sector.

With a love of films and television alongside writing, he studied Film and English Language at college. Following Sixth Form, he opted for an apprenticeship rather than choose the university route, which is how he found himself as Studio Assistant at Purple Monster.

In his spare time, he is likely to be watching his team, Manchester United (this time, inspired by his Grandad) or discovering the latest films and TV.
